Some children in the Virgin Islands are living in food-insecure households, according to Social Commentator Claude O. Skelton-Cline.

Many of these children attend school daily without proper nourishment, not due to a lack of parental desire to provide, but because their families struggle financially. Skelton-Cline emphasized the importance of preparation for potential global economic downturns, which could exacerbate existing issues.

He warned that no one is immune to the effects of global tensions and urged the community to take action.
