Portable VI makes published ferry calendars easier to use. It is an independent planning guide, not a ferry operator, ticket issuer or live port-status service.

What the times mean

The paired times on the source calendars represent two separate departures: one from Road Town and one from Charlotte Amalie. They are not departure-and-arrival pairs. Portable VI shows only the departure for your selected direction.

September and October use the three published time slots, with no sailing inserted where the calendar shows a blank or dashed slot. November and December use their own four-slot schedule. The Christmas Day exception overrides the regular December slots.

What is not live

Weather changes, cancellations, extra sailings, available seats, ticket prices and final arrival times are not supplied by this static timetable. Always check with the operator before travel. Dates outside the loaded months are not inferred or extended from a weekly pattern.

Book with the operator

Selecting a ferry creates a travel plan only. The booking handoff keeps your chosen route, date, time and travelers, and offers Copy details & open booking. Your selected details are not automatically entered on the operator’s site in this release. No date-and-time prefill integration has been verified for the three operators. A future tested integration can pass supported fields; a date-only link will never be presented as an exact-sailing transfer. Confirm the route, date, time, party size and final cost before paying.

Corrections and updating

The December 6 operator sequence was corrected in this build to match the supplied calendar: Smith’s Ferry, Road Town Fast Ferry, Smith’s Ferry, Road Town Fast Ferry. The underlying date-specific data is available in the published timetable dataset.

A new published calendar or operator notice must be checked before the dataset is updated. The site does not automatically claim a newer verification date just because someone opens it.

Your privacy

My trips saves plans in this browser’s local storage. Opening the booking handoff also saves the plan in My trips where browser storage is available. Shared handoff URLs contain only timetable selection IDs and the traveler count. No account is created, and no passenger names, payment details or precise location are collected by this build. Remove a plan from My trips to delete it here. External operator and payment websites handle their own privacy and booking processes.

Images and independence

The hero and route visuals are branded project images created for Portable VI. They are intended to reflect local ferry travel, but they are not live photography, operator endorsements or real-time port views. Portable VI uses its own interface and brand. It is not affiliated with American Airlines, AAdvantage Cruises, BVI Ports Authority or any listed operator.
